Everyone would like to watch this film regardless of age because it is a wholesome family entertainment.

After the movie

1.       Do you like this movie? Why or why not?

Yes we like this movie. Because the movie brings out a lot of positive message to the audience. The main character, Carl has shown us some good characteristics like the spirit of never give up although life is full of obstacles.

2.       What rating would you give for this movie?

We would give 4 out of 5 stars for this movie.

4.       All movies teach a lesson (theme or moral). What did you learn from this movie?

This movie brings a lot of moral values to us. We have learnt that nothing is impossible. We should never give up pursuing our dreams. Carl had a dream with his wife to go to Paradise Falls but his wife died before they managed to make the trip. However, he is determined to go to Paradise Falls despite he was 78 years old that time. This also proved that everyone can be a hero. To be a hero must not be young.

Carl's floating house

We have also learnt that life is full of unexpectations and uncertainities. Carl and his wife, Ellie had planned to go for a trip at South America and started to save up money for that. But as the years past, they forced to dig out the money for other living needs and obligations. So, life do not always go as the way we planned.

Carl and Ellie share a same dream to go for a vacation to South America

Besides that, we need to have faith in ourselves. We have to keep pursuing our dreams. For example Charles Muntz in the movie. He found the large skeleton of an ancient bird. Many scientists think that it is a hoax. In order to prove them wrong, Charles board his zeppelin to Paradise Falls to bring back the living proof of his finding.

5.       What title would you give for your review?

Never give up in your dreams.
