2. What is the story about?
Landon Carter, a student who lives in Beaufort, North Carolina. He did a prank on a student in school and put the student in hospital. He then received a punishment to participate in school community service, which include starring as the lead in school play. This throws him in with the minister (Reverend Sullivan)'s daughter, Jamie Sullivan, who is ambitious and nothing in common with Landon.
Landon spent most of his time practising with her, and later develop strong feelings for her. He slowly learnt that Jamie has a list of lifetime wish to be accomplished. Later on in the movie, Landon found out that Jamie has terminal Leukemia and has stopped receiving treatment. He did not leave her but start to fulfill her wishes one by one. Jamie's cancer get worse and later die in the end of the story. The couple managed to get married before Jamie died. Throughout the process, Jamie has helped Landon to focus and become a better person.

Teenagers and adults would have interest in watching this film.

The movie would be ruined if we told our readers about Jamie's death in the end of the movie. Some readers might not like a sad ending like this.

Yes we like this movie. Because the movie brings out a lot of positive message to the audience. The main character, Carl has shown us how can a person changed from bad to good because of the existence of love. The movie brings out the message of the importance of love.

We would give 5 out of 5 stars for this movie.

The movie would be ruined if we told our readers about Jamie's death in the end of the movie. Some readers might not like a sad ending like this.

4. All movies teach a lesson (theme or moral). What did you learn from this movie?
This movie brings out the message of the nature of true love. Landon fulfills various wishes of Jamie, such as building a telescope so that she can see a comet. On one memorable date, Landon take Jamie to fulfill her wish of being in two places at once. They even get married before Jamie passed away in the end.
Besides that, we have learnt that we cannot judge a person by his or her appearance. Jamie looks very old-fashioned and dull but she is such a talented person. She has a angelic voice who can sing and act well.
The movie also taught us that we should never give up easily. Even though Landon get rejected repeatedly by Jamie at the beginning, he did not give up. He wants to be together with Jamie in spite of her father opposes at first. In the end, Landon succeed to open Jamie's heart and eventually be together and get married.
